2025 is here and so is Career Indaba®. 

Career Indaba® is a dynamic multiplatform employment network for driving sustainable employment growth, economic development, and secure global competitiveness across the continent. 

 Officially launching on 8th March 2025, we are proud to be the Africa’s first multi-network employment bring transformative solutions to Sub-Saharan Africa, a region filled with endless talent and untapped potential.    

From Botswana to Zambia, our mission is to empower job seekers and employers to foster sustainable growth and economic development across the continent. 

Sub-Saharan Africa is home to the world’s fastest-growing labour force, projected to expand by over 450 million people by 2035. However, challenges remain, with youth unemployment averaging 13.9% in 2023, while the share of young people in NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) remains high at 22.5%. Women in the region face even steeper hurdles, with 17% higher NEET rates compared to men.  

At Career Indaba®, we are taking that first step to being part of the solution by connecting skilled individuals with meaningful opportunities and supporting businesses in finding top talent. Our platform aligns with 7 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on decent work, reduced inequalities, and promoting innovation to drive progress by 2030.
