Description

Purpose of the role 

Assists with compliance by ensuring that all Company’s standards are maintained and adhered to by key customers. 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Studying towards a National Diploma in Food Technology
  • Diploma in Consumer Sciences
  • Diploma Quality Management and Consumer Sciences

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct Travel tests – (All products that are of concern at the moment, e.g. Lettuce, Home-style Doughnuts etc.)
  • RPC investigations- Troubleshooting into high number of RPCs and aggressively searching for ways to improve product quality across the three legged stool i.e. Suppliers/ Distribution centres/ Restaurants. Monitor and hold suppliers to increased RPC and Root cause analysis
  • ATCQ + BTCQ homework/ research for Digitisation- Maintenance and reporting of ‘Across the counter Quality’ (ATCQ) and ‘Behind the Counter Quality’ (BTCQ) Programmes. Conducting follow – up with suppliers and stores on findings.
  • Beverage Audit tracking-Follow up on corrective actions and trending of the results
  • Packing Samples ( Level 1)
  • Prep for Country Cutting
  • Shadow 2nd Party Audits
  • Clean Label Tracking – Ensuring the tracking of all suppliers and affected products
  • Consistent Product Quality in stores-Periodically visit sites and suppliers to guarantee standard operating procedures and food safety guidelines are followed to ensure compliance
  • Validate the operating procedures in stores and factories by working with suppliers and other key stakeholders
  • Assist with the continuous improvement and product optimisation (Cooking validations/ NPD) in partnership with suppliers and key stakeholders in the business (Menu/ RSG) so that the site receive the highest quality products
  • As part of a cross functional team, implement and improve Cold Chain management across DCs and site
